Update March 16th

Hello Wonderful Families,


New AR goals have been set.  Students received a new bookmark to keep in class with their “good fit” level on it.  This will help them in selecting books that will help them continue to grow.



Parent Conferences will take place the week of March 16th.  If a conference is required, I have contacted you via ParentSquare.  If you would like to request a conference, please send me a ParentSquare message and we can set that up.
All report cards will be sent home on Friday, March 20th
All 2nd graders need to complete 6-8 hours of community service. Community Service hours and projects are DUE by FRIDAY, MAY 1st, 2020. Information about the project requirements went home March 2nd. 
This trimester students have restrictions placed on their AR quizzes. Students will no longer be allowed to quiz on books outside of their level range without prior permission. I am hoping this will encourage and help students choose "good fit" books. 
Success Academy and electives have ended, and will resume the week of April 13th.  Please be sure to make arrangements to pick students up after school at 1:30pm or after lunch at 2:05pm.
Spring Break is quickly approaching.  There will be NO SCHOOL Monday, March 23rd- Monday, April 6th.  School will resume Tuesday, April 7th.

Homework:.  Find the Evidence will go home on Monday and is due Friday.  Please remember to fill in your Reading Log and complete Math sheets nightly.

Hello Wonderful Families, Welcome to our classroom blog.  This blog will be updated weekly with announcements, homework, and spelling and vocabulary lists for the week.
