Update October 28th

Hello Wonderful Families, A BIG thank you to those that have sent in money for our "Change for Change" campaign for Ghana. The campaign will run throughout the year so keep sending in change! Our next round of change will be collected this Wednesday, October 30th, so if you’ve been saving up at home, please send it in! ​ ​We will begin reciting our poems in class starting this Monday, October 28th.  The end of the first trimester is rapidly approaching!  We will be finishing up our end of trimester assessments this week, so there will be NO HOMEWORK!! Please remember that it is mandatory for each family to meet with me this trimester for a parent-teacher conference.  If you have not signed up for a conference yet, please remember to do so.   This week we have started our Magic Tree House book study.  Each student was assigned a Magic Tree House Book that they must read prior to Friday, November 1st.  We will then be completing several activities in class

Hello Wonderful Families, Our "Change for Change" campaign for Ghana will run throughout the year so keep sending in change! ​ ​Please continue to practice your October Poems!  Students need to memorize one of the four poems that came home.  They will recite the poem from memory the week of October 28th. The rubric is on the back of the poems so you can see how they will be scored. The end of the first trimester is rapidly approaching!  We will be taking many of our end of trimester assessments this week, so there will be NO HOMEWORK!! A Conference sign up on Parent Square was sent out Friday, October 18th.  It is MANDATORY that I meet with each of you this trimester to discuss your child’s progress.  Please make sure to sign up for a time for us to meet.  If you are wanting to order books through our Scholastic Book Order, I will be placing the order Friday, October 25th. ​  You can always check your child's progress toward their AR goal by going

Next week is Spirit Week.  Each day will have a fun dress up theme.  If kiddos are not participating in the spirit day theme, they must still dress within the Dress for Success guidelines.  The theme are as follows: Monday: Dress as your favorite movie character Tuesday: Dress as what you want to be when you grow up Wednesday: Dress as mismatched and crazy as you can Thursday: Dress as past, present, and future Friday: Pajama Day October Book order forms went home today.  If you are wanting to order books, I
