Update April 2nd

Hello Wonderful Families,

Our new AR goals have been set.  You can check your student’s progress by using the Renaissance link on the left of this blog.

Our LEGOland fieldtrip will be Friday April 5th.  Look for another informational letter coming home on Tuesday, April 2nd.
  • As stated before, siblings are not allowed to attend this trip.  If you choose to pull your other ILCS students out of school to attend this trip with us, please know that you are jeopardizing this trip for future 2nd graders in the years to come.
  • If you are attending the trip, as a chaperone or a parent, your child MUST ride with you.  The only people allowed on the bus are teachers and those students that will not have a parent in attendance.
  • You are more than welcome to carpool with other parents and their students, but NO students are allowed to ride in a car if their own parent/guardian is not present.

For 2nd grade, you need to complete 6-8 hours of community service.  Think about great ways to serve the community in which you live or go to school.  Community service is a great way to make a positive difference. Community Service Projects will be due Friday, May 3rd.
