BSC AR INCENTIVE PROGRAM
BSC just launched our first ever school-wide incentive program for Accelerated Reader. Each month the second grade class with the most points will be awarded a trophy to be displayed in their class for the entire month.
In addition, the top reader (student with the most points at the end of the month) will be recognized at our monthly ROAR Rally, have his or her picture posted on our Rockin' Reader Bulletin Board, and will be mentioned in our monthly newspaper.
At the end of the year, students who have met 100% of their AR goal ALL three trimesters will be invited to the "Principal's AR Party on the Playground," which includes extra recess, music, and treats.
Please help our class by making sure your child is reading for at least 20 min each night.
You can monitor your student's AR progress by clicking on the "Renaissance Home Connect" link on left side of this blog. You log in using your kiddos AR username and password to see which quizzes they have taken and what type of progress they are making towards their AR goals.
