Update August 26th

Hello Wonderful Families,

Welcome to our classroom blog.  This blog will be updated weekly with announcements, homework, and spelling and vocabulary lists for the week.

AR goals were set last week.  Students should be reading at least 20 minutes per night for homework and are given 15-20 minutes of reading and quizzing time in class each day.  You can check your students AR progress by clicking the Renaissance link on the left hand side of this page.
Book order forms were sent home at Back to School Night.  I will submit our first class book order on Friday August 30th.  Orders can be submitted online but will not ship until I place the final order.  To help our class earn free books for our classroom library, please enter our class code TJMVT when signing up.
Success academy will begin this week.  If your child has been enrolled in success academy, you should have received a Parent Square message from me last week.
I will be sending out a Parent Square early this week for September class helper sign ups.  I look forward to having some helpers soon!
