Update April 29th
Hello Wonderful Families,
I am so excited to announce, that our class has earned the AR trophy for the months of March and April! During these 2 months, our class earned over 305 AR points. I am so PROUD of all of my little readers! Keep reading, the last day to earn AR points for this trimester is May 31st.
For 2nd grade, you need to complete 6-8 hours of community service. Think about great ways to serve the community in which you live or go to school. Community service is a great way to make a positive difference. Community Service Projects will be due THIS FRIDAY May 3rd. A handout outlining what is required went home at the beginning of April. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to message me.
We will be working on writing our habitat Informational reports in class. Each student will be responsible to recreating their animal habitat by creating a diorama. Dioramas will be due Friday, May 17th. A planning sheet went home last week with the research pages. Please do not turn in dioramas prior to the 17th. We don’t have a space to store them in the classroom.
2nd grade will be hosting our Habitat Museum on Friday, May 24th starting at 12:45pm. All parents are welcome to come visit our classrooms during this time and learn about the four habitats we have all been working on. A parent square message will be sent out as this day gets closer, with more details.
